Our guest monologist is Former Assembly Member Lloyd Levine.
We'll try to figure out where California went awry.

Our Show:
Long Form Improv...we make up scenes on the spot, inspired by true stories from our monologist. Nothing is scripted, nothing is planned and almost anything can happen.

NWStB is Sacramento’s hottest Long Form Improv group – 4 guys who deliver awesome comedy inspired by true stories from special guests.

Our next show is this Friday (June 12) at ComedySportz Sacramento (directions below). Our special guest is Sacramento’s own Jennie Reiken! Jennie is the Field Manager for Equality California (the state’s largest GLBT advocacy group). Before joining Equality California, she worked in development at Planned Parenthood, was a high school cheerleader, and was a national champion in competitive roller skating – seriously!

Tickets are only $5.00!

Friday – June 12. Show is at 10pm – doors open 9:30.

Just wanted to drop a little note about our 2nd show...

First off, thanks to all who came out to the show.

Second, thanks again to Chris Crotty for opening his space for our show again...it is appreciated.

Many thanks to Christian Pebbles for taking a break from saving people from fires to be our guest monologist. He hired not one, but two babysitters and brought his lovely wife and some friends in to see our show. Plus, provided us with some very interesting stories.

Thanks also to Jay Rudin & Chris King for shooting our show...we'll have some clips online as soon as I get a chance to upload them. And for my friends back on the East Coast, we may even have a DVD copy of the show...

Finally, we will be back on stage in June for another Nefarious show...check back often for your Nefarious updates!

I'd like to take a line here to thank everyone who came out to see our debut show. Everyone seemed to have a great time...I know the cast certainly did.

One Day Away

Our debut show is only one day away. The final preparations are being done today...all that's left is to get our minds right and see how many people have the good taste and free time to check out our show.

Chris King just wrapped shooting his new film, so he'll be fresh with new stories to tell us all.

Our guest Monologist is Chris King:

Chris is a multi-award winning local indie ﬁlm maker whose films have played all over the world. He spent several years as a puzzle writer on Wheel of Fortune. Chris also finished a marathon with a broken leg and has jumped out of airplanes and helicopters in the US Army. Bottom line, Chris is an interesting dude with lots of great stories that you don’t want to miss.
